Maybe the Transformers movie won’t suck balls after all. Maybe. Maaaaaaaaybe.
The new trailer squeezed a teeny smile out of me. Probably because I heard a familiar sound effect when Optimus transforms, and it soothed the raging fanboy in me like a lullaby and coochie coos and tummy rubs. So I’ll go easy on you now, but I’m watching you, Bay boy. This had better be good.
Because Megatron still looks like shit.

Ok ok ok … Maaaaaybe you’re right … Maaaybe it won’t suck … Just maaaybe (I think we should start vigil). But did you notice that none of the robots speak? Curious huh?
But Megatron spearing Optimus is cool!

It’s actually Bonecrusher spearing Prime. Megatron brings on the pain on puny Jazz on the rooftop, though…
The part where Prime’s mouthplate locks into place during battle mode looks cool, although I’d prefer it if he didn’t have a metal mouth to begin with.

Megatron looks real weird and cactus-like but his face design [if ya happen to have glimpse at the concept artwork] is fairly detailed and interesting. My major gripe on designs, is actually Starscream who now looks like a fatbloak… even though he wasn’t my fav in the series. The best looking transformer I feel is Blackout [the chopper]; good luck to those toy-companies if they ever consider making a detailed-diecast-figure of some kind…
