Moar Than Meets the Eye
My take on the Transformers movie: It was good while it was good. Then it was bad.
…
Ah, heck. Why not write another 200 words. I’ve got time to kill.

What’s Cool
1. Spectacular action sequences (such as the one where Megan Fox bends over to check out Bumblebee’s, uh, engine bay)
2. “Autobots, roll out!”
3. Kwuzhichichichik! (transformation sound effect from the original cartoon)
What’s Fool
1. Shyarrrr LaBuff (hey, my pronunciation is as good as yours)
2. Optimus Prime saying stuff like “Oops! My bad.” WTF is that about?? Must be the flame decals.
3. Optimus has LIPS, FFS.
4. The final showdown between Optimus and Megatron was about as climactic as watching yeast grow. It was more like Softimus vs Meh.gatron. Too short, too easy.
Did I miss anything, besides 130 words?
Oh, and just to lend this crap movie review an air of cocky pretentiousness, here’s my Transformers movie rating in stars: **1/2 (of 4)
What did you think of the movie?

U really dun like Michael Bay ya…..
hahahaha
Ya…few frens of mine told me that they can’t eveb blink their eyes as those transformation “Kwuzhichichichik” scenes were too short and too fast…..

I thought it was a really fun movie to watch.
Great action, amazing effects, decent plot and lots of fanboy moments. By far, its the best movie this summer.
I only had an issue with how the final battle was resolved but I guess I can let that go. The Autobots were kinda soft. Except for BumbleBee. He was a trooper! Maybe the others had jet lag.
They’ll definitely do well enough in the Box Office to continue the franchise through a few more movies. If thats so then I think this movie sets the stage for more rewarding battle scenes later on in the series. You can’t throw your best cards out in the first movie anymore.

“You want a piece of me!? You want a piece of me!?”
“No, I want two pieces of you!”
I think this part is even worse than the final battle. Jazz KO-ed just like that

Lol, I thought it was pretty darn cool. Maybe i wasn’t that big of a transformers fan which led to my low expectation which is why I thought the movie was great.

I liked it pretty much, considering the fact that i originally didn’t want to watch it. Rating wise, i think i’d give it 3.5/4. haha.

Typical Michael Bay fluff. I shouldn’t be surprised, but with all the ranting and raving about it I expected something at least half-decent. Of course that was not the case.

It was so bad I had to review it twice, (one on the dot com, the other on the personal one) just so I could give it four thumbs down.
I’ve liked Shia since his Disney days so that’s my only bias.

The guy was cute alright!
Other than that, I think the actions were pretty okay. But the story has lots of weird extra scenes that doesn’t really contribute to the storyline. For eg, when the spy transformer tried to steal information from the government, they ended up looking actually for ebay…Damn, I could get access to it with any computer, why the create the whole unreasonable scene? I highly think that ebay had been sponsoring them or some sort.
Oh, by the way I was sitting at the second row from the front so I couldn’t really get the entire picture in quick enough. But from the comments above, I wasn’t the only one thinking it’s a bit too fast. I didn’t get which was the transformer who broke into half till I discussed it after the movie. I also don’t understand why Optimus Prime said “Stop!” when Sam tried to put the Cube into Megatron’s chest. The idiot from Sector 7 was really stupid too.
However, despite all the criticisms, I do think that it’s quite an entertaining movie all in all though it may not be the best. I’ll give it a 3 out of 4.

Honestly, I thought the movie sucked too……. Though maybe for different reasons.

I don’t understand why is it bad. It was pretty much a 2 hour plus fun ride for me. It was pretty darn entertaining especially the first hour and half.
And I think Megatron having teeth beats Optimus having lips =.=”

The best part of the movie was how Sam (whom should have been named ‘Spike’) got Megan Fox to sit on his lap.
“There are seatbelts in the front … ”
Its funnier that it actually worked!
