Watch your language… Just watch the movie without ridicule it further. Don’t do stupid stunt to gain publicity.

Lol, I didn’t think the movie was that bad. Yeah, it wasn’t as great as the book (very few movies adapted from books are, so people should just stop expecting it to be ), but I didn’t think anyone WOULD fall asleep watching it.

ron, FA, arth akal: The IDEA guys, IDEA as in CONCEPT, as in what the entire premise of the movie is based on. No real hot on-screen action, sorry.

But wait till the porno version comes out — “The Da Vinci Load”– which I bet will be at least 500 times more exciting than watching Tom Hanks running around for 2.5 hours looking as grave and concerned as plywood. I mean, they could have saved 20 million bucks and hired Steven Seagal as Langdon instead and no one in the audience would’ve noticed. Because they’d all be asleep.

walski69: Even more surprising, is that no angry Christian fundamentalists have called for the murder of the Director of the Film Censorship Board for allowing cinemas to screen such “blasphemy”.

emily: You can save quite a bit if you go for shows before 12pm, they’re RM6 weekdays, even on new releases. Prices are up because they include an extra 30 minutes of commercials before the show starts — amazing value for only RM2 extra, don’t you think?

CSC: I liked the book better. At least I could take toilet breaks between chapters.

Haven’t read the book, haven’t seen the movie but will watch it when the hype die down and with lower ticket prices.

Since when did cinemas charge extra for new movies? I first noticed this during King Kong. -____-

Not surprised, really. Too much hype surrounding the film adaptation of an already contentious book. As it is, the film stays true to the book, and so those having already read the book would probably find the film a bore – been there, done that kinda thing.

I’m just reading the book now (haven’t finished it), and do intend to see the film, regardless of what the critics say.

Surprisingly the film made it thru totally intact – I hope this is a trend that will continue. Unless, of course, a certain Akmal Abdullah has his say…
