The Heat is On
As you are aware, the official kurtlow.com car is finally upon us, prompting Phase 2 of Operation Financial Ass Rape — Tinting. From my exhaustive (I got tired after the first phone call) research so far, I can safely conclude that there are approximately 28, million, types of tint products for your car, and that the best way to decide on one is to simply hurl a wad of cash in the general direction of a car dealership and ask the salesguy who finds it to run you over with a truck repeatedly.
Fortunately, we still have the Not-So-Best Way, so all is not lost, with the exception, of course, of your bank account balance. I have narrowed down my options to:
a) Rightcool, a relatively new tint shop conveniently located in PJ opposite the MBPJ building (you know, the one where you can “contribute” to the MBPJ Football Club in exchange for rights to set up illegal billboards around the immediate vicinity, up to the Vietnam border) who are having a promotion until the end of the month, namely: RT grade tint all round for RM480 (“normal” price RM800) and higher grade RTT tint all round for RM980 (“normal” price RM1600).
b) Salesguy Vincent, who offers V-Kool 63 for the windshield and Solargard for the windows and back for RM888 (“special” promo).
Regis, I think I’d like to use a lifeline.

nicole: I’ve already started modding as we speak: added a box of 2-ply tissues, a few CDs, etc. I’m HARDCORE TO THE MAXXX.
jason: I was wondering the exact same thing. But it’s nice to know that amid the heated competition, everyone’s keeping cool.
ix: Can you afford RM50k?
