The Universe Is Queerer Than We Can Suppose

After watching this TED talk by Richard Dawkins, I felt a sense of humility and wonderment. It could very well be the beer, but I doubt it because I didn’t have any.

    That is some pretty heavy stuff to digest. But I love these shit, the whole universe, why-are-we-here shit.
    Here’s another fun fact.
    A mission to Mars, called for by the first President Bush in a moment of passing giddiness, was quietly dropped when someone worked out that it would cost $450 billion and probably result in the crew’s death (their DNA would be torn by high energy solar particles).
